Small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) primarily use Microsoft 365 Business Standard. It's ideal for companies needing solid productivity tools, secure cloud storage, and collaborative features without the complexity of enterprise solutions. For example, a marketing agency might use it to manage projects, share files securely, and host virtual meetings.
Many confuse Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Microsoft 365 Apps for business, which lacks advanced security and collaboration features., some believe it's only for large enterprises, but it's designed for SMBs needing scalable solutions.
I helped a local bakery transition from paper invoices to Excel templates and shared calendars via Teams. Their productivity improved, and they reduced paperwork costs by 30%. This plan's affordability and ease of use made the switch smooth.
